Hello, and welcome to Foxy Feminist!

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably got many questions for me, and since you can’t actually ask me at the time I’m writing this, I’m going to ask myself questions I think you’d like answered. Ready? Here we go!

Why did you start this blog?

Good question. The easy answer is that I was assigned to start a blog for one of my college classes, but that assignment just gave me a reason to blog. I’ve realized more and more that people really don’t understand what feminism is or about anymore, and being from a long line of educators, I thought I should help clear up some of those misconceptions.

Why are you a feminist?

Well, I’ve honestly always been for equality on all fronts, so it makes sense that I’d be for equality of the sexes and everything else feminism is about. I plan to elaborate more on this question in its own blog post.

Where did the name for the blog come from?

Well, I knew I wanted this to be an illustrated blog and was nervous that cartoon people might somehow be offensive, so I thought foxes would be an adorable alternative. I also wanted the title to be an alliteration, and “foxy” fit the bill.

Do you draw the comics yourself?

I do, indeed! If you love them, you’re welcome.

Wil this blog be a lot of man hating?

Absolutely not! Men rock! Women rock! We all rock!

Thank you so much for reading my first post! If you have any other questions, feel free to comment below or contact me. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. If I get a lot of similar questions, I might make a post answering them all at the same time.

Until Next Post!
